This House
This House
Yelling and screaming fill the house
The walls are so thin
They think I can’t hear it
Little do they know I’ve heard every word
There fights are always the same
Why won’t it stop?
BOOM, BOOM!!
The familiar sounds of slamming doors
Its silent
Nothing is being said or screamed
I can hear myself think again
The silence continues
All I can think about are the fights
I can’t figure out what’s worse
The screaming or the silence
The two people I love the most hate each other
This is no family
This house
This marriage
Its sucked the life right out of us all
Its must stop
Just put us all out of our misery
This house has sucked us all dry
