The House of Cards
Kings and Queens rule walls over head
The Jacks in precise lines
Number and suits containing memories and moments
Two of Hearts, Five of Spades
A touch of life, a kiss
All make up my house of cards
Winds come often, swiveling recollections
Threatening Ochos and Knaves
None yet prevail to bring down the fragile royals
Life will shatter one day
A moment changing all known before
And the winds will take my house of cards
And with it, me
