The House in the Woods

THE HOUSE IN THE WOODS (a poem to go with my painting) The moss sways from the old branches, which reach out from the towering trees, which have stood there for hundreds of years. As the sun begins to set you can still see glimmers of light streak down the dirt roads which also stood the test of time. If you look to your right, you see the woods, teaming with wild life and areas uncharted. To your left, an old house surrounded by cars, a wooden shed and a bond fire where people hang out at night. Every once in a while a car may pass by, but otherwise, there is just the sound of the weeping willow trees, the wind, and the ocean in the background. Just a few of the things found near the house in the woods.
