How?

Love as the blind

it made its way into my mind

I can safely say I'm a hostage

but I'm trying to work my way free

it wasn't your fault, but how can you

cause this effect in me?

i'd hear stories

stories of people with those damned cupid struck arrows

never realized i'd be one of the many

who caught these phsyically feeling feelings

you aren't for me though

and this infatuation is mistaken

for something worth waiting around for

but the left side of my brain helps

like an ever so stricting belt

holding back what's chemically strung

feels more like a lose-lose, never to be won

I hope that this all goes away, or that i forget competely

by each rising sun

THIS isn't fun
