How ...?

Ephesians 1:11

11 In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession,

since we were predestined according to the one purpose of Him

Who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His Will

Here we go ... for me the end of the night

It is very early morn and dark outside

Yesterday was clear ... cloudless was the sky

Today inscribes the same ... limitless and bright

Where to go from here ... where to call home?

Is it in this temporal body that is fading fast?

On what could have been ... surviving all alone

Almost a shame that aging spells a cast

Obedience brings life and that for forever

It is so much better that any sacrifice

Underscored by facts that show the never

One will be disappointed or rewarded otherwise

Take that to the bank in a rollercoaster

Up and down through the waves in the storms of life

Here and there a breath to enjoy nature’s luster

And accept the gift of truth to remove all strife

Why are peaceful moments followed by contention?

Why “peace on earth” does pops up here and there?

Only reborn believers it shines without pretension

Forever lives the Prince of it to protect His family here

How to embrace peace when in constant turmoil?

How to kiss the Son when lips are cracked and dry?

How to enjoy life when covered with death’s soil?

How to escape from that or ... even want to try?
