How Am I Supposed to Love You

how am I supposed to love you

when time fades and someone replaces you

I tried pushing people away so that I could keep the thought of you on my mind

but now

all those painful memories that made me feel

when I felt numb

are now gone

and I just have to accept the fact

that now you are gone

not just in person

but from my mind
