How are you?

How are you?

No really. Tell me how you feel.

Don't tell me that you're fine,

if you're answer isn't real.

Why don't we open up?

Can't we have a conversation?

Why do we put up with this fluff,

create a social alteration?

Yeah, I know.

It's not easy being honest,

If it means taking the time,

to explain our hidden hardships

Takes a lot of work.

To truely say just how you feel.

Do you think someone would listen

would it really help you heal?

So listen.

Seriously, just listen.

to make the world a better place

open up and pratice this then

next time you see someone you know

and you ask them "how are you"

this time really try to listen

maybe they'll do the same for you.
