How Awesome a Day Is

a day can be painful but, it can also be sweet

if you waste it away you’ll never get it back

but another will come right on time as if on beat

it will bring you another chance like some paper in a hat

getting through the day is easier said than done

it’s almost like a fight

you against the day and there can only be one

but it’s not about the journey so much as it’s about the destination

facing your fears along the different which-ways

doing your best to cope with the trials and tribulations

do it like my man Pac and hope for betta days

hope might be all you got

but it’s all you need

because if you believe in yourself

one awesome day can set you free
