How can this even be

How can this even be You across the table To be at war with me? This home should be stable, To be safe and warm. Yet we don these garish masks, ‘til we buy the farm. We can drape our windows with damasks, And bind our eyes with silk, But what is remains the same, For all our ilk. Until we change the game That we play Tomorrow will be the exactly like today
