How can I tell you

How can I tell you who I am?

Through the snap of a single square.

It is hard enough when face to face,

Look closer if you dare.

How can I show you who I am?

With a simple crooked smile.

Maybe if I adjust it just right,

you will stay and look awhile.

Can you truly see me?

Without the filters you may not stare,

Without the angles you may pass me over.

But in the end I simply don't care.

I may not be a beauty queen,

And I'm not a camera tilter.

Still that does not discourage me,

Because I live without a filter.
