How can you manage...

How can you manage to stay away?

The pain it causes…

I can barely breathe;

Tell me your secrets.

How do you just walk away?

At the end of the night,

When you sleep in an empty bed,

Knowing what you’ve done;

Who you’ve slayed.

Can you count all the ways you’ve gone wrong?

Can you count that high?

I don’t think I can…

How many people have you hurt?

Can you fix that?

Are you going to try?

Night after night you lay there thinking,

Just lay there,

I want you to feel the pain of lives you’ve destroyed.

The lives you left behind.

The things you can’t fix.

How dare you sleep?

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” - Mad Hatter
