How close I was to

How close I was to almost losing you.

In an instant i could have seen you die.

While I drag you from the cold, hard highway,

With your body limp, I let out loud cries.

Before my eyes, you were hit by a truck.

How could you have possibly survived?

Unexplainable is this kind of luck.

It's a miracle that you are alive.

I could not bring myself to say goodbye,

All i could ask myself to do was ask why.

The answer to this was very simple,

For you're my brother, the love of my life.
