How To Cope

I write to cage my haunting thoughts in a prison of paper and bars of ink.

Yet, it is like a book of scars that I reminisce the acts of trauma that depict the sorrrow I wear today.

My fingers trace the trail of memories I wish to throw away,

but somehow it is like a vice to share them with a person who feels the same pain.

Maybe this is how I can cope and put others in a better place,

because my prison could be anothers heaven gates.
