treat me like I am less than

make me feel unwanted

listen only when you want to

that I'll only use them

lie about who I am to "protect yourself"

to make it "easier"

make me feel unwanted and unloved

like I am the only one who cares

how dare you

use me as a stepping stone

come out when you want something

only when you know i'll say yes

take away what I love

what I cherish

label me as something i'll never be

put me in a box

I am more than just the dirty rag you use to clean your shoes

I am something greater
