how dare you

You used to call me "love", and I would call you "mine".

You used to buy me flowers, and I would give you rocks I found on sidewalks.

I used to call you every day, just to take your time.

I used to smile sitting next to you sitting on the dock,

we would sit and watch water rippleing in lines.

We used to be together but now, I can cry at the thought of your hands.

The pain you caused me was like burnt bread.

After I was burnt, you threw me away. In someone elses arms did I land.

You made me get on my knees, even when I pled

I begged to stand, but I was dammed.

I was glad to say goodbye. Your face was brick red

We used to be happy, you changed it all.

I was scared to leave, but I deserved better.

You used me when I was in love. How dare you, I blocked your call.

I am no longer scared of the bad weather.

I am okay now, with the help of scones and cold brew.

How dare you.
