How did I get here
Oh God.
How did I get here
The world has grown to big
I've only grown in fear
This morning.
I swear it was this morning.
I woke in my mothers' arms
I was so big then.
But the ceilings were taller.
Now my legs are long
but my minds much smaller
It was this morning
it was warm.
And good, and right.
Now I'm spinning in circles
and every turn brings more demons
than I could ever fight.
The days blur together.
Was it last night or last year?
I don't know where I am.
How did I get here?
I see a thousand headstones
a thousand names silver plated
but I mix up the people I've loved
with the ones I've created
My hands are shaking
but I don't know why
I glare down at my grave
and up to the sky
I'm holding something.
And It fills me with fear.
I don't know what I'm doing.
How did I get here?
The faces surround me.
They scream. What. Have. I. Done.
I search for some familiarity
but don't recognize a single one
I reach out for some answers
but the fogs far from sheer
I don't know who I am.
How did I get here?
