How Did They?

by they I mean, humans.

uttering a gutteral language of pinched air and pitch

tongue rolling words off the tongue, one after the other

mundane and everyday to fill the air with noise

and then they add some 'musical' instruments

voicing a word into words in a whole new way

Music...

this is what they 'say'

only now sound so much nicer.
