How Did You Know?

There was a brass player on Television that made my mind play the trumpet-- not that those notes will ever be heard; Unless, perchance they know already what it sounds like to play with the band when I don't know how to use my hands. Hearing music takes me back in time to when my mind was open, and daydreamed; even the strangest lyrics are familiar. So if I make a song for myself, will you know? Remember what you were like before? Not if you'd know me, but as if I'd known you?

I've got a little poem book I've been working on since I was about 17 or 18, and one day I hope to make it into a book. I only add to it occasionally though.

This is actually inspired by some form of crazy happiness that took me over a few years back, and made me feel like I could actually relate everything I was hearing on television and the radio and whatnot directly to my own life history and experience. You know, like that song where the singer is talking about how someone else is telling their own lifestory, except nonstop, at every bend in time. I've come to expect that my life was just very common and relateable to those few years span of public media.
