How Do You

Dear Dad,

How do you feel at 40 years old

That you diddn't see your daughter grow up

Now shes all grown

Im 18 now and lived my whole life without you

Going to college now

Forgetting about you

How do you go about your day

Knowing you have a daughter

But if you ever saw her you'd have nothing to say

I just want to know why you missed everday holiday

Every year I wondered

If youd ever make it to me some day

Yours truly,

Your 18 year old daughter
