How far

You're begging for forgiveness
It's been over a month
Your children are all tired
But still she won't let up

It started with a message
Than many many more
It was never for real
Only for fun when you're bored

Would you self multilate?
Bang your head on walls?
Let "her" carve into your skin
Would you do it at all?

Would you force your daughters
To apologize and do "what's right"
For a peaceful family
That is until that night

Would you let your lover
Punish all your kids
By forcing them to hurt each other or would you think it's sick?

Would you watch your daughters
Cry as they inflict pain
Would you get down to your knees and take all of the blame?

Would you throw away your vain
And repent your infidelity
Throwing away you manhood
And throwing away your dignity

Would you watch you children run away again and again?
Only for them to fall and nearly break their hand?

How far would you go to ask for forgiveness?
How long could you hold on before you ask for death?
