How to Feel

I pity anyone who says love is hard

Love is kind.

Love is unconditional.

Love is forgiving.

From the second I met him I was stuck,

As stuck as I am when I am trying to capture another picture of my new favorite sunset

Or the rush I feel when I am drawing a new piece.

I had always assumed love would be something intense and magical

However, I never understand how quickly it can fill parts of your life

Almost like warm sunshine beaming in from a window demanding to be felt

Never have I depended on anyone or anything

People leave, time goes on people change

But he, he is different

He stays.

Unconditional love and support is provided as if there is nothing he would rather be doing than growing with me

I no longer crave sleep because that is less time I have to watch his blue eyes gaze at me

Someone who takes my breath away

Someone who teaches me how to calm down and breath.

This, this is love
