How to get there

We all have dreams

We all have aspirations

But how do we get there?

I try not be a crowd follower

But if you caught me in my contradiction

I would deny it, cause i'm a liar too.

You see, I'm a pretty messed up kid.

I do what I can to grow and pursue my passions,

But even as a senior I feel like a child.

We all have dreams,

But how do we get there?

I can try and try,

But sometimes I have to realize my limitations,

To realize my incapacity

To realize my inability to do it myself.

I need mentors, teachers, and guids.

Education can provide a platform,

Education can provide a boost

Education can provide a means to reach the loftiest goals.

Through education,

I will be able to make affordable housing for those in need.

It might be a big goal,

It will be hard to acheive.

But with college and a degree as my springboard,

I will shoot for the moon,

And if I miss, I'll land among the stars.
