How I Am Feeling

Short lived

I’m not here for a long time

I’m here for a good time

You had the time, I had the good

Now even the clearest days seem covered in soot

My need for you was dire

What am I to do with this short lived fire?

Time

With you there was never enough

I didn’t have to act tough

Without you, there’s too much

I still miss your touch

What am I to do with all this time?

Apathy

When I looked at you, I felt everything

Now, I look at you and feel nothing

I wish I felt pain, I wish I felt happy

Why can I only feel apathy?
