How I feel

You want to know how I feel about you? Would you still love me after I tell you the God's honest truth? Okay here it goes ... I'm in love with you No not like that petty high school "I want something or someone to love because everybody else is in love" type love I'm in the type of love that has me in so far over my head that my breathing begins to get slower Like swimming down in the ocean when you begin to go lower You were more than I could have asked for Everytime I leave your presence you have me thinking of you more & more So much that I began to replay the first moment that we met I was in elementary & I knew you were a little to experienced for me But I saw you in an image of one who was just nice to me Very playful to be with Even in those moments that I tripped Up & slipped up But I knew I wasn't your only And for a while I felt that was messed up But you cared You was in my heart so much that after every heartache & heartbreak or whenever I was getting ready to quit You would embrace me with your presence & tell me to pick up my pen And begin the overflow the ink onto the paper until it bleeds through Until every thought & every expression is told to you See, you didn't just like to just read my stories You wanted to feel them If I cried, you did too And once you cried, I could feel some advice & artistic expression that I feel were from you You gave me ideas & ways to look at my situations And advice on how to get past my situations by using my determination But then a problem between us surfaced All because I was getting a little jealous Because I didn't like that I had to share you with everyone else Because of those moments that I had you all to myself. You've always been there for me Every single day Ever since elementary Poetry, I'll love you for always
