How I Remember You

You are crowded with people but they make you more heartwarming

Those familiar faces who have done good and bad
But I like them all for they are yours
And they shared memories with me

And you have always been so pretty

It might be because of the continuous merrymaking
Or your colorful culture that I know won't be gone
Or the freedom that your people have
Yet they don't abuse it
And if that freedom did something
It made them love one another
It made them live peacefully

For that, I feel safe with you

I am happy with you
And I know that they are, too

That was how I remember you

Not a place where people are afraid to go at night - and morning
For they know bullets are waiting for them

The bullets took their freedom

The bullets are the ones who are now free

What's confusing is

Why are those bullets coming for them?
What's painful is
The bullets have no criteria - except for one thing
If you are not loaded, you are most likely to be dead

They say it is for those who succumbed to the white lines
But they never sticked to the so-called guidelines
And the others are being propagandized
The innocents are being antagonized
The bullets mastered the technique of conquering
By masquerading as soldiers of truth, love and peace
From the evils that they really are

I know you

You fought before
And you will fight again
I love you
And I know you love us more
You and your beloved ones will soon defeat the devil's reign
