How I wish to be Flawless

It’s not about the skin tight dress or sky high heels,

It’s not even about how that silly boy makes you feel.

When I wake up in the morning,

My hair’s a mess, acne all over, and that breath comes out with no warning.

Oh how I wish to be flawless.

I see her on insta with everything on point,

360 likes and 20 heart-eye emoji comments,

Then there’s that picture...of her holding a joint,

And suddenly she has triple the comments.

Oh how I wish to be flawless.

Then I think to myself what does this all even mean?

How would this ever completely define me?

There’s so much more to a beautiful soul that is waiting to be seen,

Looks can only last so long, while true beauty lies within me.

Oh how I AM FLAWLESS.
