How it all started

It all started when i was young and had a love

for the way lyrics coursed into my ears and set my body a flame

As i acquired years i found my other love

The written word ,A bundle of pages that took you to another world

Something that i had sought after to fill the void that had left me numb

Then i discovered what meted me  and gave me chills that seeped into my bones

This shook  me core

For i now saw others have felt the emptiness i had

This is how i felt the first time i absorbed alone by Edgar Allan Poe

And i am no longer the same

After this i began to fill my void with my own words not others
