How It All Started - Poetry

 Poetry has mood swings.

Poetry is dope.

Poetry can change things and it gives me hope.

Poetry is a life line, a god in the worst of times.

Poetry is an expression,only one that I can claim as mine.

Poetry is always there for me - even when right or wrong.

Even after waking up, after a day that was so very long.

 Poetry is love, which, only two people feel from the touch.

Poetry is my gift.

Poetry is cluctch.

And you know, back in '11, I was angry and felt like life was

Just a little too much.

I got tired of being TOLD what I was and what I wasn't,

Most importantly I got mad passionate about who I was at 

That moment. 

So, I started writing, stating cold facts.

My name, what instrument I played, and what color I 

Liked to look at. 

I had an attitude, was led to the pencil and a sheet of paper -

then I stared playing with words and forming different views.

Four years later, I write about a little more than the dirt on 

The bottom of my shoes.
