How it is - Creating Obedience

Isn’t it a shame that we depend on what others think?

We have society do it for us all the time.

We have society tell us what is ok to wear, 

When it is ok to eat or sleep.

Society dictates our lives from the very moment we are born

But the worst part of society,

Is that it will find its way to influence your brothers and sisters.

Spouting words of society as if it was trying to tear you down.

How awful society reacts when being confronted by people who want to change it.

How terrible society is when people get silenced by it.

Being opinionated in society is wrong,

It is defiant,

It is dangerous.

Society wishes to get rid of it

And it will find out how to do it one way or another.

Now isn’t that frightening?
