This Is How It Feels

It was the entrance into a new world,

like an ancient paradise.

Moods, wishes never felt before

at last came alive.

In those moments I first saw his face,

a part of me became intertwined

with his ambitions and his mind:

an entity from another time.

Despite my attempts to turn away,

I could only stay.

It was but the product of a deep desire,

to be with him always.

Life is a mirage of perspective,

mysterious as it is surreal.

I've never been met with it before,

but this is how it feels.

In any darkness that comes his way,

during his fears and his plights,

with confidence I will face them all for him

to restore the hidden lights.

Even if he never knows

these distant dreams in my heart,

I wish the best for him, the golden soul.

I hope we'll never be apart.

Completion of the self, loyalty,

strength so authentic and real.

I've never been met with it before,

but this is how it feels.
