How It Feels To Be Product Me

How It Feels To Be Product Me

“Hello My Name Is David Santos” is what my description would read. Without a second hesitation I will be rejected or accepted into the masses of consumers. Every social interaction, job interview, and college application will be shown my description in order to judged. Sometimes the description itself is useless. In reality my description is only the first handshake. In many cases the presentation of David Santos is all that is needed to be judged in other instances the skill of David Santos will be judged just the same for a potential buyer.

My metaphorical box will hold onto itself a summary of who I am, what I can do, and the potential of what I will do. As I awake each morning every new skill or piece of information learned on any given day will add to my summary. On a shelf with many other competitors, the brand of David Santos will contain within itself the desire and ambition to achieve a dream. As I am released to the sea of applicants and working class, I am engulfed by others but I am still who I am and my torrent of emotion, joy, and memories will reveal me once more.

The word product holds within itself the negative connation of humans being an item for sale. I do not feel like any item to be used and forgotten because I know my description holds value that I am someone to be treasured and cared for. Despite the negative connotation I am still me. I love to build and disassemble computers, learn the basic components of items, and realize the potential and limits of each item and software. To see the components of new technologies and to study the building process of the old and the new is captivating in its own right.

The objective of a product is to improve upon itself with a more reliable version or regarding more versatile items to upgrade it with software overhauls or updates to give life with lines of code. Every day a promise is made and achieved every day to improve upon myself in order to be sold to others with complete customer satisfaction. My own personal lines of code will make me as a product continue to be more appealing physically, mentally, religiously, and socially. Making a new friend, failing to get a new job, being accepted into a college, being rejected be a date, receiving a scholarship all share the same idea that I have presented myself to be bought or rejected for the sake of improvement. As I’m improved upon I will be thrusted upon the center stage to be compared to products B and C with only 1 spot left for a winner.

Ambition is not encoded by a school system neither is ambition taught.  I was born with a scarlet flame in order to build a foundation of who I am. The scarlet flame allows me to forgive my faults so that I can be grace to someone else. Realizing our own humanity we accept our shortcomings. The same ambition taught me how to emphasize with others whom are left behind. The best teachers and scholars are those whom can emphasize and help others in order to promote innovation, in other words my summary would say “works well with others!”

Most if not all products face obstacles as time progresses, and mistakes will be made. We have all made mistakes and I have made mistakes, but my mistakes haven’t made me. My eyes are wide to possibility and despite the depravity I will face, I will seek to reject injustice and not to judge. My product is pure with a strong sense of morality. My Name is David Santos and in a world of supply and demand unfortunately my supply is 1 waiting to be accepted by a judge.
