How to know Love

A healthy relationship

Is simply one with trust,

But not that normal trust,

Trust that you can wake up

Every morning and not worry,

If they don’t love you anymore.

It is one with loyalty,

But not that normal loyalty,

That loyalty where you make

It clear that you are still mesmerized

by your significant other,

Where you don’t let anyone step out that

Friendzone.

It is when you don’t

Just think about pleasure,

You know what you want and

You aren’t just there for the good times,

In fact you are there for

All the times.

It is when you know how to

Act in certain places and how

Not to act,

Even though things get

Out of hand you catch yourselfs,

You have respect for one another.

It is holding on to those hurtful words when you argue,

Arguments are warfare,

But don’t poke wounds when

You know it is sore there,

It is arguing but still loving the person,

Where you yell you hate them,

But deep down you know you love them.

It is still trying,

desperately to try and add

That extra detail in the letters

Or the note you left with flowers

Or even what you say in a date,

You make sure that detail is perfect

So you can see them smile.

It is when you hear them

Say i love you,

And you know they mean it,

Because everyone has been through

Hell and it is hard to say those 3 words

After it,

But know that they mean it,

After everything you guys have been through,

They love you.

These are little ways

To know what a healthy relationship is,

And if that one person came to mind,

Then you know that

that one person,

Gave you or is giving you

A Healthy Relationship.
