How to know you are in a toxic relationship

if he makes you wait around for his friends

he does not love you

if he tells you you can't be jealous when other girls are around him

he does not love you

if he uses your emotions to his advantage

he does not love you

if he only acknowledges you for your body

he does not love you

if the sound of his voice makes you quiver in fear

he does not love you

if he tells you "the bruises claim you as mine"

he does not love you

if he says you're not good enough

not strong enough

or not worthy of his "love"

he does not love you

And if after all of that you tell yourself you need him

that you can't live without him

or that he was the best thing that ever happened to you

you do not love yourself
