How Long My Love
How Long My Love
Oh my love when is the day I will see you ?
My poor heart is hungry for your love ,
Time put by the hours till then I cry within .
We have been apart to long , and my heart
Is hungry for your kiss and your loving touch within ,
My heart has been closed for all my life ,
Then my poor heart let you in ,
But why does it anger my heart to not see you ?
For one man out of this world my heart was given to you .
I yet remains to see if your love is as strong as mine .
I build my time and life lightly and still as a dream around you,
You stolid my heart just like a spark to set a fire ,
My thoughts clearer than your thoughts at times ,
I know you are so much older than I ,
But my heart loves you until the end of time ,
So how long my love , Until I see your face ?
