How Long Will You Run?

Sit with yourself sometimes, all alone. Why are you so afraid of your own self? You care for everyone around you, but once in a while, ask yourself how you're doing too. The thoughts that frighten you— welcome them with open arms, and listen to what they have to say. If you're tired of the noise of the world, sit quietly for a while and listen to the whispers of your own breath. You have fought and won many battles outside, but take part in the war within as well. And if this online world ever overwhelms you, go to the fields and watch— how a tiny seed takes root, and slowly becomes a plant. How long will you keep running from yourself? One day, you will have to sit beside your own soul.
