How To Love

Just a tiny speck,

Blowing in the wind,

Traveling endlessly,

Never reaching an end.

Your heart of gold

Couldn't fix my lost soul.

Rejecting your advances,

Believing in second chances.

Foolishly thinking your love was endless.

I've kept you waiting for far too long.

Now the love you've had for me is gone.

And I miss the relationship we had without the "title."

You've found another,

She's your better half.

And still, I refuse to confess.

The door is closed,

Oppurtunity has come and gone.

If only I knew how to love.
