How to Love

Number one tell me who you think you are

if you can't learn to respect me

if you invalidate my feelings

if you're manipulative and control me

Number two tell me who you think you are

if you can't be candid with me

or trust me

all my thoughts, my feelings, and my actions

Number three tell me who you think you are

if you feel as though you can tear my faith apart

play me for a fool

and leave me whenever you want

Number four tell me who you think you are

if you do anything but just love me

for who I am

that's all I ask

There's nothing in this world better than love

it's a reason to live, smile, jump in the air

but please don't ever hurt me

for I have a very fragile heart
