How to make yourself feel better
I get it sometimes
Those late nights when deep thought
Is most vast
An infinite number of infinities
And like the impossibility
Of something spontaneously being created from nothing
Hope is the needle not even in the haystack
Yet for some reason they tell you latch onto it
As you would to the feeling of weightlessness in free fall
Did they let you know it would come to an end at some point
depression like the ground is accelerating you to the end
And Some just give in
This poem is for those who choose this
To hit infinite nothingness
Let me let you in
Behind the scenes poet to audience
In the rough draft of this poem
I had depression leaning on me
Hoping I could bring the happy weightlessness back from the moment it disappeared
The moment I was born
Ever since I've had liability on my emotions for everything
Even living
I was a host to a virus of ignorance
To which today affects many
So this poem is a guide on how to be happy
To those in the same situation as me
You don't believe me
Don't worry I wouldn't either
Many people say they hold the remedy
To down size our polarities
Getting rid of the extreme from our personalities
Their promises include side effects chained to a imagined dream
The extreme isn't taken care of only maintained in a cell of tranquility
To me that is the introduction to insanity
This poem isn't filled with lies buttered up to float in a day dream
This poem is for those who truly want to be happy
1. Find a medium to keep a sense of caring
For example this poem
I'll tell you are the sun in everyone else's world
Even though you feel like the black hole
Sucking the happiness out of everything
You are a beautiful rose at a flower store
It may seem like people are passing you up because your ugly
In reality your just so freaking expensive
2. Learn to love something
if life was meant for isolation then everything would go extinct
cause without this love feeling
you're a walking corpse and you might as well be dead
But I won't judge you for being
a water bug who drifts in a neverending storm
just know that even if your past deems you as an outcast
rise past those feeling and extend your perspective on other people
eventually they will see it your way cause outcast can change the world
3. Remember everything
Your past was a yesterday dont let that take away from the
current seconds you wasting on worrying about what already happened
let those minutes go towards seeing how you will help make yourself better today
I know it can be hard to do these things while fighting a neverending battle
But if I didnt write this to help us out why would I still be here.
Something wrong with this poem?
