How Many More?

How many more lives have to be taken until the racism stop?

Until the injustice stop?

How many times do we have to say we can't breath while the air from our lungs

is slowly being compressed?

While people stand and just watch afriad of being hurt too.

Where the only way to get justice is through the camera of our phone.

Do we have to shout, protest, or curse?

How many more times do we have to fight to see a change?

A change in how they view us

A change in the system

A change of  mind.

Should I pray or should I hope?

Should I get down on my knees or should I march out to the streets?

But will all of this make a difference or will I just be stuck back in sqaure one?

Will this stop the injustice, the brutally, the hate?

How many more times do we have to march and protest while the sting of pepper spray hurt our eyes!

Will our fight even be enough for people to realize that though we might not look the same

on the outside we are the same on the inside.

When will they realize that we are more than what they think of us!

When will they that realize that until they stop we wont stop fighting!

When will they realize that our lives matter too!
