How Much I Needed You

Ever seen the movie "Endless Love"?
It fits my life like a glove.

It all Started freshman year,
When you appeared.

Your pick up line was " want to go to a party with me?"
I gave my friends a look.
Then realized you were being funny

I knew you'd have my heart.
I took yours
But we never thought we'd be torn apart.

We talked for what seemed like forever,
Because my parents were never sure,
what so ever.

It was February 4th when they gave in,
That's the day I had the biggest grin.

Our memories were so grand
You & I, hand & hand.

The sweetest things you always said,
Are forever embedded in my head

We made it through a whole year,
But Then things got severe.

Yes you made some dumb decisions,
Even if they were pointless collisions

My parents started to hate him,
That's when we went out on a limb.

We truly loved each other,
More than anything.
Like no other.

We tried to hide from my parents,
But Once they found out.
It was a huge fuss.

I knew what was right,
our breakup blew up like dynamite.

It's almost been a year when this went down,
We wish it didn't happen.
Cause my world turned upside down

To this day, my parents don't understand,
That I loved you.
& They put me in crash-land.

Call me crazy,
Cause I might be.
Or think I'm whiny,
But you don't know me.

But If they just knew
What we went through,
They'd have a clue,
How much I needed you.
