How Much More

These are troubled times

The days bring much distressed

We wonder if we can withstand

One more grueling test

Though we question in our hearts

Still we look to God in prayer

And even in the worst of times

He still meets  us there

His ways are so much higher

And he knows the reasons why

We face these daily setbacks

He sees the tears we cry

He so longs to gather us

Beneath His wings I’m sure

Whenever we are struggling

And asking how much more
