How People Are

People are not perfection on a page A piece that is spontaneous People are not perfect lines of ink Flowing smoothly across paper Like water over the riverbed Or wind across the surface of clouds No, people are not like such People are more like scribbles More like splashes of paint Bashed against the canvas relentlessly Randomly More like charcoal ground against pages Thick and thin Full of emotion and strangely a lack thereof Like fireworks A blast of spontaneous color slicing through darkness Bright and inspirational in a sea of conformity and disillusionment Each mark will go its own direction An individual among individuals Each color carve its path in the bigger picture Just as important as any Each smudge and mistake on view to ponder What happened and when and how It's true then, I suppose That people are more like scribbles... ...Complicated
