How People See the World

When you wake up, do you put a mask on?
Do you hide your identity?
Has anyone actually met the real you?
Or do they see some rehearsed play that you put on?
When will they see the real you?
Will they ever see the real you?
Or will they just see the person you want to be?
'Don't try to be someone else' they say.
'Be yourself' they say.
Then they go and make fun of anyone who's different.
Why is this our society?
Why do some people have to live with this?
Some have to deal with that not only at school or work, but also at home.
Is this what our society has come to?
Where a mother doesn't even care for her own child?
Or a father won't love his kids?
Or even a brother hardly talks to his siblings?
Wht about a sister hitting her siblings?
Is this all right to you people?
Is this what you enjoy?
If it is, you're one sick person.
If this is what you like, rethink your though process and just remember:
You aren't the center of the universe.
No one is.
