How Potent is the Little Dream

How potent is the little Dream

That festers in my Mind unseen,

And doesn't care about Excuse

For Anything but breaking loose-

Whose crown of permeating Hope

A growing Confidence put on,

Now finally is springing Forth

Attainable and raw as dawn,

Making a steadfast Vow to be

Fulfilled, no matter what, in me-
