How Seeds Grow

In the ground was planted a seed

who can guess what that seed will grow to be

who knows what will water it

some seeds might not grow at all

maybe the seed wondered what it would grow to be

maybe the seed had no clue at all

it lay hoping that there was something better

maybe some seeds lose hope 

and thats why they never grow

this seed had great hopes though

it stood its ground well

it was scared

it was sad

but it continued to grow

this seed had faith

and perservernce 

it believed there was better days

a better place

than the cold lonely ground
