hubris

icarus flew

                  too close to the sun;

his wings melted

he fell

       down

                 down

                            down

"it was his hubris"

       they say

"icarus did this to himself"

no !

no no non -

                   n o.

i'm trying my best,

please.

                why did icarus fly so close to the sun?

                not to be a god

                but to experience joy for the first time.
