Human

Of all the things to define

Of all the places to draw a line

We do not choose

But still we lose

The last time I took stock

Which might come as a shock

Equal all were made

Equal we should have stayed

God loves all

But some are thought small

Differences God's spice of life

But most use the spice to cause strife

In time it will show

In time we will grow

In time we will learn

Time will welcome scorn

Forgotten the lesson of the past

When we put others last

Who was equal was argued before

Yet we treated that fact like lore

They all took stock

Eventually they gave the shock

They decided all were equal made

Equal rights should have stayed

We have some hope

We can cope

We know there will be change

We just don't know the time range

Soon we will choose

So no one will lose

No one should define

No one should draw a line

The reason being

We are all human beings
