Human
Wow, I haven't written in a while,
Feels like forever and a day,
And the words are just flowing,
I stare at my reflection in the mirror,
Trying to see something that I've never seen,
Trying to look pass this smile,
Yeah, sometimes I fool myself,
How can I get through with everything bottled in?
Don't like to complain,
But I guess that's different from expressing,
I don't like to worry anyone with my problems,
Everyone has their own,
But sometimes you just need that ear to listen to you,
I'm only human right,
Sometimes I wish it was possible to hibernate,
You know, like the bears do in the winter,
Sleep through the problems life may throw at you,
Be the life version of Sleeping Beauty,
Only she didn't have a choice,
And a kiss wouldn't wake you,
Sleep for days, weeks, months, years at a time,
But not dead,
No not dead,
Sigh,
If only it was possible.
