human

Death has pulled me down to the lowest of lows

To the point of no return

It felt like I was the one 6 feet under ground

I have fallen… I have been broken… I have bled…

But my scars remind me of who I am

I am only human

I get back up

I take back control

I get through it

Divorce has torn me apart

All the fighting rips at every edge of me

It felt like I was the one being split apart

I have fallen… I have been broken… I have bled…

But my scars remind me of whom I am

I am only human

I get back up

I take back control

I get through it

Being thrown around between two houses made me feel like I wasn’t a person

That I was just a piece of property

Court telling me whose house I needed to be and when

Why would they do that to me?

I have fallen… I have been broken… I have bled…

But my scars remind me who I am

I am only human

I get back up

I take back control

I get through it

All the battles have given me the strength to keep fighting

I have many scars but each one has a story

Every scar

Every story

Every struggle

Everyone is different

I have fallen… I have been broken… I have bled…

But my scares remind me who I am

I am only human

I got back up

I took back control

I got through it
