Human Inhumanity
Mind was made of gears.
All was mechanized.
And fueled by immortal fears,
Man was mortalized.
Evil forged in ice.
Than lost among the stars.
And the plans of men and mice,
Were locked in Iron bars.
Our hearts were cold as ice,
But they were not made of metal.
Edderdan than thought,
With faulty mind of man,
Evil can't be caught,
Except in "Lesser than."
Cadderfly the silent,
On gears of men still stood.
And called that frozen millitant,
That evil would reign for good.
Our hearts were cold as ice,
But they were not made of metal.
Ice from stars did fall.
And some were "Lesser than."
But God reigned o'er all,
And good was still in man.
A war of fire and ice,
And hearts were finally broken.
Frail cold paid it's price,
And skies were once more open.
Our hearts were cold as ice,
But they were not made of metal.
Our machine was broken.
Once more we felt.
And hearts of true men,
Were strong enough to melt.
Forgive us, hear our cries!
From beneath our crumbled temple.
Our hearts were cold as ice,
But they were not made of metal.
